The flatbed scans at 1200 x 2400 dpi over an A4 area, and the copy function can produce up to 20 copies.

Paper loads from a single rear tray rated for 100 sheets. Printed pages collect in a smaller 30-sheet output tray, which suits ordinary home documents better than long unattended runs. The India sheet names A4 and Legal paper, and wider regional data adds smaller office sheets such as A5, A6, B5, and B6. Letter pages, envelopes, photo paper, and user-defined sizes also use the same rear feed. Duplex printing is simplex or manual only, so two-sided documents need page turning. Borderless output is limited to supported photo media, with 4R listed as the top borderless photo size.

A nearby computer can connect through Hi-Speed USB. Wireless jobs can move over Wi-Fi, or through Wi-Fi Direct when no router connection is available. Wi-Fi Direct accepts up to eight linked devices, which is useful for phones and laptops that need a direct printer link. Mobile printing uses Epson Smart Panel, Epson iPrint, Epson Email Print, and Remote Print. With the trays closed, the body measures 361 x 317 x 162 mm.
