Epson ET-2800 Driver connects the computer with the printer and prepares its core functions for use. It manages setup on compatible Windows and macOS systems, including USB and wireless connections. The Epson ET-2800 combines color printing, flatbed scanning, and copying in one compact unit. Four refillable tanks hold black, cyan, magenta, and yellow ink supplied through EcoFit bottles. Printing comes from a four-color MicroPiezo drop-on-demand printhead, while the CIS flatbed captures one original at a time. A 1.44-inch color LCD and nearby buttons control copies, maintenance, paper settings, and wireless setup.

Black documents print at up to 10 ISO pages per minute, and color pages reach 5 ppm. Maximum print resolution is 5760 × 1440 dpi. The flatbed scans originals up to 216 × 297 mm at 1200 × 2400 dpi hardware resolution. Copy settings permit up to 99 duplicates and scaling from 25% to 400%. Borderless photos are restricted to 3.5 × 5-inch and 4 × 6-inch paper.

The rear feeder takes up to 100 plain sheets or 20 photo sheets, but the output tray holds 30 plain pages. Common sizes include letter, legal, A4, A6, half letter, and executive. Custom sheets can extend to 8.5 × 47.2 inches, so longer paper projects beyond the printer during use. The same feed accepts up to 10 No. 10 envelopes. Two-sided printing and multi-page scanning need manual handling because neither automatic duplexing nor an automatic document feeder is fitted.

A nearby computer can connect through Hi-Speed USB. Wireless jobs travel over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 4, or directly from a compatible device using Wi-Fi Direct. Mobile printing can run through Epson Smart Panel, Epson iPrint, Apple AirPrint, Android printing, or Mopria Print Service. With the trays closed, the body measures 375 × 347 × 179 mm. Operating depth expands to 578 mm, and height rises to 253 mm. Weight is about 4.1 kg without ink or the power cord, while standalone copying uses roughly 12 watts.
