Brother MFC-L2800DW Driver lets the computer communicate properly with this wireless mono laser all-in-one printer. Once installed, the system can recognize the machine for printing, scanning, copying, and faxing. Print and scan jobs can then move through the selected USB or wireless connection instead of being sent to the wrong device path. Proper driver support keeps the printer and scanner functions available to the operating system.

The Brother MFC-L2800DW is a mono laser all-in-one, not a print-only machine. It can print, scan, copy, and fax. Printing comes from an electrophotographic laser engine, with 128 MB of memory inside the hardware. The control panel uses a 16-character, two-line LCD, so menu changes stay button-based rather than touchscreen-driven. Originals can sit on the flatbed glass, or move through the 50-sheet automatic document feeder when several pages need scanning or copying in one run.
Black output reaches up to 32 pages per minute on A4 and 34 pages per minute on Letter. Automatic two-sided printing runs at up to 16 pages per minute on A4, or 17 pages per minute on Letter, which avoids manual page turning for ordinary duplex documents. Print resolution reaches 1200 x 1200 dpi. From the standard tray, the first mono page comes out in less than 8.5 seconds.
The flatbed scans at up to 1200 x 1200 dpi. The automatic document feeder scans at 600 x 600 dpi, so its strength is multipage handling rather than maximum scan detail. Software interpolation can raise the listed scan resolution to 19200 x 19200 dpi. The scanner reads originals up to 210 mm wide. Copying works at up to 600 x 600 dpi, with stacking for as many as 99 pages. The first copy appears in less than 10 seconds.
Paper feeds from a 250-sheet cassette, with a one-sheet manual slot for media that should not run through the main tray. Envelopes and labels use that manual feed. Bond paper and heavier stock go there as well. Finished pages collect in a 120-sheet face-down tray, while the rear face-up path takes one sheet. A computer can connect through Hi-Speed USB 2.0, and wired network use runs over Fast Ethernet. Wireless jobs can travel over dual-band IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n, or through Wi-Fi Direct when a direct wireless link is needed.
