The average print rate for monochrome and color is at 27 ppm. The first-page print rate is 9 seconds for black and white. Whereas, for colored pages, the print rate comes after just 9.9 seconds. The print resolution is 600 x 600 dpi for both colored and monochrome. Both the color and monochrome resolution can, however, be optimized to 38400 x 600 enhanced dpi. This print resolution technology is with the ImageREt 3600, well-calibrated with PANTONE. Interestingly, the recommended work cycle is 750 to 4000.

HP LaserJet Pro M452dn printer has compatibility for HP ePrint and Apple AirPrint, which are suitable devices for mobile printing. Other mobile page enabled means to include the Google Cloud Print 2.0, Mopria Print Service and other mobile apps. However, the printer has no wireless connectivity.

The input paper tray has a capacity up to 250 sheets while there is an additional multipurpose tray of 50-sheet capacity.
