Epson SureColor T3475 Specifications
The Epson SureColor T3475 is a 24-inch wide-format inkjet made for printing only. It has no scanner, copier, fax hardware, or automatic document feeder. Printing comes from a four-channel PrecisionCore MicroTFP drop-on-demand printhead, with 800 nozzles on each channel. UltraChrome XD2 pigment ink runs in cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. Replacement cartridges come in 110 ml, 350 ml, and 700 ml capacities, while a 4.3-inch color touchscreen carries the local controls.
Maximum resolution reaches 2400 × 1200 dpi. At its rated engine speed, an A1 or D-size print takes 25 seconds. Variable Droplet Technology can place droplets as small as 4 picoliters and use three droplet sizes within a line. Borderless output is restricted to nine specified widths between 10 and 24 inches. An internal rotary cutter finishes roll prints automatically or manually. Compatible files can also be printed from a USB flash drive without using a computer.
Paper enters through a top-loading roll path or a slot for one cut sheet. There is no cassette for keeping a stack of loose paper ready. The roll holder accepts 2-inch and 3-inch cores, and roll width can range from 10 to 24 inches. Maximum roll diameter is about 6.7 inches. Cut sheets may be 8.26 to 24 inches wide and 11 to 62.2 inches long. Either feed path takes media from 0.003 to 0.011 inch thick.
A nearby computer can connect through SuperSpeed USB. Network printing uses 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, or wired Ethernet with speeds up to Gigabit Ethernet. Wi-Fi Direct is useful when a device cannot join the main wireless network. The printer understands Epson ESC/P Raster, HP-GL/2, and HP RTL. With its stand installed, the body is about 43 inches wide, 30 inches deep, and 42 inches high. Weight is roughly 141 pounds, and printing consumes about 34 watts.
