The Brother MFC-J6560DW is a colour inkjet all-in-one with print, scan, copy, and fax hardware. Its piezo printhead carries 420 black nozzles and 420 nozzles for each colour channel. Memory is 512 MB, while the front panel uses a 2.7-inch TFT colour touchscreen. Document capture comes from an A3-size flatbed and a 50-page single-sided automatic document feeder. The cartridge system uses four ink colours.
Print resolution reaches up to 1200 x 4800 dpi, while maximum print speed is 31 ppm in black and 30 ppm in colour. Paper input comes through one 250-sheet tray and a one-sheet manual feed slot; the same paths accept Letter, Legal, Ledger, Executive, A3, A4, A5, A6, envelopes, photo paper, and index cards. Output capacity reaches 100 sheets up to Letter or A4, but larger paper reduces output capacity to 50 sheets. Hi-Speed USB 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, dual-band Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, AirPrint, Mopria, Brother Mobile Connect, and USB host access cover connections.
