Samsung ML-2520 Driver

This model of printer is the first member of the Samsung ML-2520 printer series that include ML-2525 and ML-2525W models. It also poses a print resolution of up to 1200 x 600 dots per inch (dpi) for adequate output quality. The printer to produce its first page out is less than 9 seconds from its active mode. Then, the supported print language is the Samsung Print language (SPL) with manual duplex printing.

In terms of the standard input tray, the paper load capacity is up to 250 sheets of plain paper. With the manual plate, the paper load is one sheet feed at a time. On the other hand, it has an output tray for 80 sheets of paper in a face down except one in face-up. The supported media sizes include A4, A5, ISO B5, JIS B5, executive, letter, officio, folio, legal, letter, postcard, and envelopes. In terms of the media types, the machine supports plain, thick, cotton, thin, colored, preprinted, recycled, and envelop.

This machine has an inbuilt processor that runs at the speed of 150 MHz for an inbuilt Samsung processor. It also has an internal memory of 8 MB that is not expandable. The compatibility also covers Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 2003 server, 2008 server, Mac OS X 10.3-10.6, and various Linux OS. The connectivity is through the standard USB 2.0 port, while the noise level is less than 50 dB. Then the monthly duty cycle of the machine is up to 12,000 pages at maximum production.

Physically, this machine has a height of 7.8 inches; a depth is 15.3 inches, and the width os 14.2 inches. Then, the weight of the device is up to 16.1 lbs. In terms of power consumption, the sleep mode uses less than 6.5 watts of power. But when the printer is in full operation, the power usage is less than 400 watts.
