The Samsung CLP-770 model of workgroup printers uses laser print technology for both monochrome and color printing. It, therefore, has impressive qualities in its design that make it suitable for both commercial and even private uses. One such feature is the print speed, which is up to 33 pages per minute (ppm). This rate is applicable for both black and white as well as color printing and applies to only letter size papers. The display component of the Samsung CLP-770 model is a liquid crystal display (LCD) screen. It also has two connectivity options, namely, the USB 2.0 hi-speed port and the Ethernet LAN. At the same time, there is an automatic duplex printing that allows printing on both sides of the sheet. It also involves language simulations such as the PCL 5C, PCL 6, PDF 14, and PostScript 3 emulation.
It can also handle media types, including plain, index card, bond, thick, thin, envelopes, transparencies, and more samples. Others may also comprise of cotton paper, recycled paper, and more standard types. The input tray of this device can take up to 100 sheets of plain paper with an average weight of 20lbs. However, there is a supplementary tray for 500 sheets, also available for use.
The machine requires an internal power supply and consumes up to 750 watts. Other varying consumption rates will largely depend on the various modes of the printer.
