The print mechanism uses a drop-on-demand Thermal Inkjet technology with the Lightweight Device Interface Language (LIDIL). The print resolution on this printer is 1200 x 1200 dpi black with a pigmented Black Ink and a 4800 optimized dpi color. The supported versions of this HP Officejet J3680 Windows Operating systems include Windows 2000, Windows XP (32-bit and 64-bit, Professional and Home editions) as well as Windows Vista. Please note at this point that this printer manufacturer offers limited support for devices running on Windows 2000. However, the minimum requirements stated thus;
