Canon PIXMA MG3250 can also produce an optimum resolution of up to 4800 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi). The print engine supports an inkjet print technology with a 4-color ink system. The two compatible FINE cartridges also have a minimum ink droplet size of 2 picolitres. At the same time, the allowed ink type is the ChromaLife100 for the best quality of output. Printing has 9.2 images per minute (ipm) for monochrome or black and white print.
Simultaneously, color printing has a speed of 5.0 ipm, while borderless printing runs at 44 seconds per page. Similarly, borderless printing is compatible with A4, letter, and standard photo sizes. The Canon PIXMA MG3250 machine also supports two-sided printing for A4 and letter-sized papers. Some of the other notable print features include fit-to-page print, scaled print, multiple-page-per-sheet print, booklet print, poster print, and collate.
Scanning with this machine model is through a flatbed component, the contact image sensor (CIS), for the color scanner. It also has an optical scanning resolution of about 1200 x 2400 dots per inch (dpi). The speed of scanning is up to 14 seconds per page on average. This component is also compatible with the TWAIN/WIA component, while the maximum supported size is 216 x 297 mm.
