Printed sheets stack face down in the 150-sheet output tray. For a straighter paper path, one sheet can leave face up through the rear exit. A direct computer connection uses Hi-Speed USB 2.0. Wireless printing runs through IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n networking, and Wi-Fi Direct uses IEEE 802.11a/g/n for a direct device-to-printer link. Brother does not list wired Ethernet for this model. Power use is about 440 W while printing, 43 W in ready mode, 3.8 W in sleep mode, 0.6 W in deep sleep, and 0.08 W when powered off.
