A one-sheet face-up exit gives thicker media a straighter route out of the printer.

HL-B2100D connection hardware stays limited to Hi-Speed USB 2.0 through a Type-B receptacle. Wired Ethernet and wireless LAN belong to other models in the same documentation family. PCL6 emulation appears as the listed print language. Brother does not support third-party USB hubs for this connection. Average power use is about 470 W during printing, 43 W in Ready mode, 3.8 W in Sleep, and 0.5 W in Deep Sleep.
