Specifications

It also has a touchscreen that supports about 16 different characters and two lines. The TFT color touchscreen liquid crystal display (LCD) and the touch panel are just about 2.7 inches (or 67.5 mm) in diagonal measurement. The compatible print language includes PCL6, BR-Script3 (a Postscript 3) while the print resolution is about 600 x 600 dots per inch (dpi). The maximum resolution, however, is 2400 x 600 dpi in top quality.

The printer can print automatically on the two sides of the page through its duplex component. The rate of the duplex printing depends on the complexity of the document and is averagely 7.5 sheets per minute on A4 size. The regular print speed is about 30 pages per minute on an A4 while the first-page printing is less than 8.5 seconds at a temperature of 230C.

There are three main options for connecting with this device, such as the main universal serial bus (USB), using the hi-speed USB 2.0 port. The USB cable, however, should be the recommended one from the manufacturer which should not be longer than 2.0 meters. Another option is the LAN connection for networking which requires the 10BASE-T or 100BASE-TX components with a straight-through category 5 or higher.

Finally, the printer also supports Wireless connectivity with the IEEE 802.11b/g/n in a regular infrastructure or Ad-hoc or WI-Fi direct. Users should also note that this printer does not support third-party USB. The supported network protocols include the WINS/NetBIOS, DNS, ARP, RARP, DHCP, BOOTP and many more.
