The maximum resolution of a copied material through HP DeskJet 3631 printer is 600 x 300 dpi. This resolution goes for both black and white as well as color. The maximum copy speed is at 5 ppm for monochrome and 4.5 ppm for colored. The copy function can also enlarge a document up to 200% and reduce it up to 26%. It gives a maximum of 9 copies.
There are two different cartridges found with this device. One monochrome printer and another one of tri-color (including cyan, magenta, and yellow). The two cartridges are the HP 63 ink cartridges. The operational power consumption of the printer lies at 10 watts, which is very low, meaning it saves a lot of energy. At sleep mode, it consumes just 0.88 but when on standby, it is 2.1 watts that are used up.
