The HP Deskjet 3522 Printer supports both ePrint and Apple AirPrint. The conclusion of this is that it allows printing from both apps without having one’s PC at hand. Other web services usable through different mobile devices include the ePrint home and biz plus a scheduled delivery print apps.
There are two trays built into this HP printer, an input tray, and an output tray. The input tray can take a paper load of up to 80 plain sheets while the output tray takes up to 15 plain sheets.
The supported paper types include not only plain paper, but also envelopes, index cards, and photo paper. Others include US letter, Executive, Cabinet, Ofuku hagaki, A4, A5, A6, B5 and B6 and Japanese postcards.
The complexity of the document determines the print speed of this device. Print resolution for draft mode is 300 x 300 dpi while the standard mode resolution is 600 x 300 dpi. The plain-best mode resolution for output is 600 x 1200 dpi. However, the overall maximum dpi mode resolution is 4800 x 1200 dpi when optimized for color printing.
The scanning resolution measures in dots per inch (dpi). The resolution can be enhanced up to 2400 dpi at a color depth of 48-bit, 8-bit grayscale. The supported file types include jpeg, bmp, png, tiff, and pdf. The twain-compliant part of the scanning function software only works for the Windows OS.
