HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M553dn Driver Download

The HP Color LaserJer Enterprise M553dn has two necessary input trays. The tray one can hold up to 200 sheets of plain paper while tray two can hold up to 550 sheets. The third input tray is therefore optional, and its capacity is also 550 sheets of plain paper. Spectacularly, all the M553 models accept up to three different 550-sheet paper feeders of this kind. The printer may even come with a Printer stand which is also an optional feature.

The print speed is 33 pages per minute (ppm) on an A4 and 40 ppm on a letter-size paper. The supported operating systems include Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. Others include Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2012. Apart from Windows-based systems, the HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M553dn printer is also compatible with Apple systems that run on Mac OS. The compatible Mac OS versions include OS X 10.7 Lion, OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion and OS X 10.9 Mavericks.

The user should note that the printer has an automatic duplex printing feature that enables it to print on both sides of the paper, although this feature is not present in the M553n which is also a model member of the same series. The standard connectivity options include 10/100/1000T Ethernet LAN connection with the IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.

The other connectivity routes include through the hi-speed USB 2.0 port as well as the easy-access USB port specifically for printing without a computer and for the upgrading of firmware. Another optional feature is the HP JetDirect 3000w Near Field Communication (NFC) Wireless Accessory for printing directly from mobile devices.

The internal memory of the device is 1 GB, which for this model is expandable to 2 GB by adding a DIMM memory module. However, this device does not support the HP Secure High-performance Hard disk. The control panel consists of a 4-line graphical display with a 10-key keypad without a touchscreen LCD.
