THE Epson XP-420 printer model can produce the outstanding quality of print through a print-on-demand inkjet technology with the piezoelectric system. The main input tray holds up to 100 sheets of plain A4 paper with an average weight of 75 gsm. It also supports media types such as premium glossy photo paper and plain paper on the flip side. As a multifunction device, it uses the flatbed color image sensor to produce high-quality scanned output.

The maximum document size for scanning is up to A4, while the scanning resolution is 1200 x 2400 dpi. It can produce monochrome scanned documents at 8.8 milliseconds per line for the 1200 dpi level. However, the color scanning rate is about 28.5 milliseconds per line. This device is also suitable for copying, at an approximate rate of 33 copies per minute at the device draft mode.
