Epson SureColor V4000 printer

Epson SureColor V4000 Driver lets the computer identify the UV flatbed printer during setup. Once the connection is established, print jobs can move from the computer to the machine. The software also passes job settings used for direct-to-media printing and layered output. Correct recognition is necessary before artwork and print instructions can reach the printer.

Epson SureColor V4000 Specifications

The Epson SureColor V4000 is an A1+ UV flatbed printer built for printing directly onto rigid materials. It does not scan, copy, or fax. Printing comes from a PrecisionCore MicroTFP printhead that uses MicroPiezo technology and variable-size droplets. Ten 1,000 ml UltraChrome UV ink bottles supply six colour inks plus grey and red. Separate white and varnish bottles are used for layered and finishing effects.

Print resolution reaches 600 x 1,200 dpi, and the smallest listed droplet is 4.2 pl. Production mode runs at 4.6 m²/h using 600 x 900 dpi bi-directional printing. A lower 300 x 600 dpi setting raises output to 10.9 m²/h. Quality mode slows to 2.9 m²/h, and the highest-quality uni-directional setting reaches 0.9 m²/h. LED-UV curing takes place during printing, including jobs that combine colour, white, and varnish in three layers.

The flatbed provides a maximum printing area of 980 x 700 mm. Material can be up to 200 mm thick, so raised boards and other rigid objects fit beneath the printhead. The table carries loads up to 50 kg. Four vacuum zones hold the material in place, and automatic height adjustment sets the print position before work begins on thicker or uneven surfaces.

A wired computer connection uses USB 3.0, and the printer carries 1 GB of memory. Power comes from a 100 to 240 V AC supply at 50 or 60 Hz. Consumption remains at approximately 1,000 W or less during operation. The machine measures about 2,097 x 1,830 x 1,470 mm and weighs roughly 620 kg before ink is loaded. Epson lists an operating range of 15°C to 30°C, with humidity between 20% and 80% without condensation. Sound pressure is about 60 dB(A).
