Canon PIXMA G2500 printer model is a multifunction printer that is capable of printing, copying, and scanning documents. Notably, its maximum paper input of the machine’s main paper loading tray is about 100 sheets of plain paper. It also supports a weight range between 64 and 105 gsm for plain papers. But when using a Canon photo paper, the maximum paper weighs is up to 275 gsm.

Under the scanning features, the component in use is the CIS flatbed photo and document scanner. It also produces a scanning resolution of 600 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi). At the same time, the expected speed for scanning is approximately 19 seconds per page. The scanning depth depends on whether the scanned documents are black or in color.
