HP Officejet 6000 Features

The HP Officejet 6000 Special Edition has interesting connectivity options such as the standard hi-speed USB 2.0 compliant port. Others include the Ethernet LAN connecting port, but a distinguishing factor to the other member of the same series is the absence of the Wireless component. The product also is without Mobile printing capacities.

The printer has an inbuilt processor of a speed of 192 MHz with the ARM946ES, ETM9 common component. The printer memory includes a 64 MB inbuilt RAM with a 32 MB inbuilt flash ROM. The physical dimensions of the unique products also include a height of 8.2 inches, a width of 19.5 inches and a depth of 11.8 inches.

The printer has an automatic duplexer which enables it to print on both sides of the page. Since a duplexer is an optional part of the printer, the weight varies with whether the duplexer is present or not. With a duplexer, the printer weight is 20.4 lbs while it is 18.4 lbs without the duplexer.

The input tray capacity of this HP Officejet 6000 Special Edition is up to 250 sheets of plain paper of standard weight while other types are of lesser quantity. The output tray can hold up to 150 sheets of plain paper when printing text. Users should, however, bear in mind that the output capacity depends on the type of document in use as well as the content of the pages in print. The printer method is the economic drop on demand thermal inkjet print technology with the HP PCL3 GUI. Also, the printer has a monthly duty cycle of about 7000 pages in a month.
