HP Deskjet D1368 specifications
The rate of printing is peculiar to the printing mode in use which may include normal, max dpi, fast normal, fast draft and best. Printing text or graphics on a plain paper for instance with the one cartridge printer is at the rate of 12 pages per minute (ppm). Whereas, the same mode for two cartridge printers prints at the rate of 16 ppm. While printing on a photo paper, the fast draft mode works at an average speed of 45 seconds.
The print resolutions also differ according to the printer mode and the type of paper in use. For instance, printing on plain paper at the fast draft mode produces a resolution of 300 x 300 dots per inch (dpi). Fast normal and normal on a plain paper produce 600 x 600 dpi while best mode and maximum dpi on inkjet paper both have a resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi. The parameters above are regarding printing black true type text.
For printing in color on plain papers, the resolutions range from 600 x 300 dpi to 600 x 600 dpi to the best mode with 1200 x 1200 dpi. Finally, the maximum dpi mode produces a resolution of 4800 x 1200 optimized dpi with the aid of a Photo Ret enhancement feature. The last two resolutions require an input of 1200 dpi.
