Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4740 printer model is a multifunction device with multiple abilities to print, scan, copy and send or receive fax messages. It also has the 4-color ink component of the DURABrite Ultra pigment ink type and works at the ISO print mode. The device’s print speed is up to 24 pages per minute (ppm) for black documents and 22 ppm for color documents at this mode. Specifications
The machine has a modern PrecisionCore 4S printhead technology with color supports for cyan, magenta, yellow and black in terms of print technology. The print technology is on a drop-on-demand thermal inkjet method. This model can produce a maximum print resolution of up to 4800 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi). In terms of the print speed at the ISO standard mode, color documents run at the rate of 22 pages per minute (ppm).
On the other hand, black documents print at the rate of 24 ppm. Similarly, at the duplex or double-sided printing mode, the print rate is 14 ppm for monochrome and color printing. This machine has a minimum ink droplet size of as least 3.8 picolitres (pl) from 3 different droplet sizes. The replacement cartridge models include the 802XL high capacity model and the 802 standard-capacity models.
The high capacity cartridges model can produce up to 2600 pages of black documents and 1900 pages of color documents. The print yields include 900 pages of black and 650 pages of colored papers using the standard capacity cartridge mode. Similarly, the fade resistance or print longevity of the output documents can reach up to 84 years after printing.
