Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4720 printer model uses a PrecisionCore 4S print head with a 4-color system comprising cyan, magenta, yellow and black. It also runs on a drop-on-demand thermal inkjet technology with a maximum print resolution of 4800 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi). In terms of the print speed, the machine works at the ISO mode to produce black documents at 20 pages per minute (ppm). On the other hand, color documents at this mode print at the same rate of 20 ppm.

But when the printer is printing at the duplex or double-sided mode, the print rate is ten ppm for monochrome and color documents.
