Canon PIXMA TS8051 model has six individual ink tanks, one for pigment black, black, cyan, yellow, grey, and magenta colors. Each of these cartridges also contains the ChromaLife100 ink types. When printing in black or monochrome mode, the printing rate is approximately 15.0 images per minute (ipm). Colour printing is at the speed of 10.0 ipm, while borderless printing runs at 21 seconds per page. This borderless printing applies to A4, letter, and some selected photo paper sizes.
The device also has an automatic duplex print feature for A4, A5, B5, letter sizes of plain paper. Besides, there is a direct disc printing through the aid of software.
