The printing process rates depend on the mode and the complexity of the printed material. For example, printing in black at the draft mode is about 14 pages per minute (ppm). But color printing is up to 10 ppm in the same draft mode. Canon PIXMA S330 printer model has a Microfine Droplet Technology as the Image Enhancement Technology. Also, it supports a maximum H-document size of 8.5 inches and a maximum V-document size of 14 inches.

Printing with this machine supports media types such as banners, envelopes, glossy photo cards, glossy photo papers, and plain papers. Other compatible examples include photo paper, transparent films, high brilliant photo film, high-resolution paper, and matte photo paper. Simultaneously, the machine is compatible with sizes such as A4, A5, B5, Legal, and Letter A size. The total media capacity of the printer is about 100 sheets of plain paper.

In terms of the print consumables, the printer uses two categories of ink tanks, one each for color and black. The black cartridge can produce up to 130 pages of printed material while the color will print to 170. The peripheral or interface devices include the CD-ROM and USB port.
