The former cartridge model is applicable for pigment black and the latter for color printing. Furthermore, the supported paper sizes include A4, A5, B5, Letter, legal, photo sizes, Dl envelopes, and custom sizes. On the other hand, the machine supports standard paper sizes that include plain paper, transparent films, etc.
In terms of the supported paperweight, the machine model can work with a paperweight between 64 and 105 gsm. Conversely, when using Canon specialty paper, the maximum paperweight is about 275 gsm. This machine is also compatible with the TCP/IP protocol. Apart from the standard USB 2.0 hi-speed port, this machine is also compatible with wireless components.
