This machine has a Canon dual custom processor with a shared capacity to deliver optimum quality. Also, the control panel for the user interface has a liquid crystal display (LCD) with a WSVGA and color touch panel. Canon ImageRUNNER ADVANCE 6555iPRT model has an internal memory of 3.0 GB of RAM. The hard disk drive has a storage size of 250 GB while the maximum is 1 TB. Furthermore, the mirroring hard disk drive works through the Raid component.

The standard connectivity options include 10/100/1000Base-TX and a wireless LAN port. Moreover, the wireless component has the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n with an optional near field communication (NFC). At the same time, it has a standard USB 2.0 host and device hi-speed port. This Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE 6555iPRT machine has two components in terms of the standard input protocols, each of 1500 sheets of plain paper. Besides, there is a 550-sheet cassette with an average weight that is up to 80 gsm.

The last option of paper input is a special tray that can accommodate 3500 sheets of plain paper. However, the printer’s maximum input capacity is up to 7700 sheets of 80 gsm average weight. This machine has a copy tray containing 250 sheets of printed papers in terms of the paper output capacity. Whereas, the shift tray will accommodate 500 sheets under the same conditions. But the external finishers will have a maximum paper capacity of 500 sheets.
