The color printer has a print resolution of about 1200 x 600dots per inch (dpi) for both vertical and horizontal. The print paper margin supports borderless printing for A4, letter, A6, photo paper, and an index card. The color enhancement feature also works with the color printer. Then, the minimum droplet size is 4pl for black and 1.5pl for colored. The modem speed of the printer is about 14400 bps while the memory transmission is up to 170 pages.
The coding method supports MH, MR, MMR, and JPEG formats. The grayscale depth for color faxing is 64 bit for monochrome and 256 levels for color. The Brother MFC-255CW printer also supports dual access and broadcasting over 40 to 50 stations with good speed.
