This Brother MFC-215C printer has an inkjet print engine and a CS scanning method for best quality output. The printer physically measures 373 mm, 345 mm and 135 mm for width, depth and height respectively while the weight of the device is about 5.5 kg. The scanning procedure of the printer is through an optical resolution of 600 x 2400 dots per inch (dpi) while the interpolated resolution is about 19200 x 19200 dpi. The printer supports TWAIN compliance, and the color depth is about 256 levels for color scanning. It also has an OCR component which is compatible with both Windows and Mac Operating systems.
