The paper input standard tray holds up to 250 sheets of plain paper while the multipurpose tray holds about 50 sheets of plain and three layers of envelopes. The automatic document feeder (ADF) can hold up to 20 sheets of plain paper. The output paper capacity is up to 150 sheets of plain paper, and one sheet face up.
The internal memory of the device is about 64 MB of RAM, but there is no memory backup. The printer is capable of duplex printing for both sides of the page but is not capable of scanning. The operating conditions include a temperature between 10 to 32.50C with a humidity between 20 to 80% without condensation.
There is a liquid crystal display (LCD) touchscreen with a reasonable size with support for 22 characters and five lines. This printer is also diligent compatibility with Windows and Macintosh operating systems. The printer resolution depends on the OS version. For instance, the Windows OS works at 1200 dots per inch (dpi) while the maximum is 2400 x 600 dpi.
Similarly, DOS has a resolution of 600 dpi, Mac and Linux OS has an average resolution of 1200 dpi while the maximum 2400 x 600 dpi. The printer language is compatible with PCL6, BR-Script 3, Epson FX-850, and IBM Pro-Printer XL emulation. The resident fonts include 66 scalable fonts for PCL and BR-script.
