The sharp MX-M904 is high quality and high-speed multifunctional printer (MFP) designed for all industrial printing, copying and scanning processes. This machine has a standard paper capacity of 3100 sheets and a maximum capacity of 13500 sheets. It has a maximum engine speed of 90 pages per minutes (ppm) for A4 sized sheets; 47 ppm for A3 sized sheets, and 43 ppm for SRA3 sized sheets. It has a memory space of 1TB HDD (hard disk drive) and starts up within a warm-up time of 210 seconds.

The copier has a maximum original paper size of A3, copy time of 4 seconds and a maximum continuous copy of 9999 copies. The scan resolution includes 600 x 600 dpi, 600 x 400 dpi and 600 x 300 dpi while the print resolution ranges from 1200 x 1200 dpi to 600 x 600 dpi. The copier enlarges well with a zooming power of 25 to 400% in 1% increments and 25 to 200% using duplex single pass feed (DSPF).
The network printer has a resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi and 600 x 600 dpi. Sharp MX-M904 driver supports both Windows and Mac operating systems and has a USB 2.0 and 10Base-T/100Base-TX/1000Base-T connection interface. The network protocols include IPv4 and Ipv6, IPX/SPX and Apple Talk. Available on the printer are 80 fonts for PCL and 139 fonts for Adobe PostScript 3. The network scanner has a pull scan TWAIN-compliant application and a push scan via the control panel.
It has for black & white and colored scanning, a one-sided speed of 120 originals per minutes and two-sided speed of 200 originals per minutes.
