The standard capacity of the automatic paper feeder is 500 sheets of letter size paper and an optional 500 sheets multi-purpose drawer plus 2000 sheets letter-size drawer. The first copy out time is 4.4 seconds and 5.3 seconds for DSPF base on letter size sheets. The copier has a memory of 128MB and expandable to 384MB of RAM. The hard disk drive is 40GB and the warm-up time is 80 seconds or less. The copy out resolution is 1200 dpi, and the copier’s output tray holds up to 400 sheets (face down).
The Sharp MX-M450U machine’s printing system has use-ready PCL 6, PCL 5e and optional PostScript. Printing resolutions include 1200 dpi, 600 dpi, and 300 dpi. It is pre-defined for high-speed operations and therefore has a printing speed of 45 pages per minute (ppm) for letter size sheets. Interpolated with the copier are an optional network printer with secure IPv4, IPv6, EtherTalk, and NetBEUI network protocols. Available connectivity options are high-speed USB 2.0, Ethernet and 10/100 Base-T interface.
The network scanner is optional and has resolutions of 600, 400, 300, 200, and 100 dpi for PDF, TIFF, TIFF-F, and compressions. The original size goes up to 11ʺ x 17ʺ either single or two-sided.
