With the capability to shift between grayscale, monochrome, and color modes, the network scanner makes color scanning possible. The optional network scanning kit preinstalls with the advanced ImageSEND function, allowing it to scan documents at up to 50 ipm in black and color. The Sharp MX-M232D supports user authentication, data encryption/data erasure and effective E-mail server user authentication for LDAP and active directory. It can scan and save files into various file extension formats (including encrypted PDF) and can deliver to 1000 one-touch destinations.
The network printer is standard, and it supports PCL 6 and is compatible with Adobe PostScript 3. This printer uses a razor sharp 600 x 600 dpi image resolution for network printing. An RJ-45 LAN adaptor allows for wireless connection while a USB 2.0 port provides fast wired connection interface. Netware, IPv6, AppleTalk and more network protocols allow for use on Windows and Mac OS.
