The print resolution of the printer is up to 1200 x 1200 dpi for black printing from a computer. However, it can be up to 4800 x 1200 optimized dpi for color printing with 1200 dpi input.
Cartridges
The HP Photosmart C4342 all-in-one printer uses four cartridges. They are for Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow color respectively. There are also replacement cartridges available at the HP store or from trusted retailing outlets around.
