The printer also uses a 4000-sheet high capacity input (HCI) tray with an automatic duplex printing. The latter feature makes it possible for the printer to print on both sides of the paper. The connectivity of the printer is through 10/100/1000 Ethernet LAN connection and the standard USB 2.0 port. The internal memory ranks up to 2.25 GB and is expandable to 3.5GB as well as HP 16GB eMMC module. It also has a control panel that measures up to 4.3 inches as a color touchscreen.
The speed of printing is up to 40pages per minute (ppm) on the letter or A4 size paper at professional mode. The printer also allows easy access printing through the frontal USB port without having a computer at hand. Copying is at a speed of 50 ppm on letter and A4 sizes on the average. Also, there is a 200-page document feeder with a dual-head scanning and HP everypage technologies. Scanning is through the digital component through scan to email, scan to USB, and scan to network.
