Specifications

The HP LaserJet Pro P1109 printer has one single input tray and another output tray. The input tray holds up to 150 sheets of plain paper of 20 lbs standard weight. The output tray, however, holds about 125 sheets of printed plain paper. Other types of media sizes are also compatible, and a fewer number fill these trays.

Supported media types with this printer apart from the plain paper, includes transparency films, envelopes, index cards, labels, card stocks, and photo paper. The paper sizes range from standard to custom sizes with diverse characteristics.

This product produces an excellent quality despite its size; the resolution is 600 x 600 dots per inch (dpi). The print resolution uses the FastRes 600 dpi technology while the language works on the printer host. The first page is produced only after about 8.5 seconds while it has a monthly duty cycle of 5000 sheets, but the recommended volume should be kept lower for optimum performance. This printer has no automatic duplexing, that means it cannot print on both sides of the paper on its own, except users turn the sheet.
