The HP Envy is a portable all-in-one device that can print, copy and scan. It works with the HP Thermal Inkjet technology. The physical dimensions are 454 x 503 x 161 mm (WDH).

There are three options for connectivity with the HP ENVY 5642. The Hi-speed USB 2.0 port that requires a USB cable, a Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wireless direct printing, and a memory clad slot. Copy Specifications

The copy speed for a colored document is up to 19 copies per minute (CPM) while for black, it is 21 cpm. In other words, the printer can work out copies of both black and color documents. The maximum copies of physical copies obtainable at once are 50 copies. A size-reduction on the output document up to 25% is possible and can also enlarge to up to 400%. The copy function can also work for both sides of the paper. Various other settings work with the copy function including brightness adjustment to make it darker or lighter mode, margin shift, and other enhancements.

Energy and Environmental specifications

A non-condensing storage relative humidity of 10 to 90% but in operation, the permitted relative humidity is between 20 – 80%. Cartridges

It also assists you to either buy it online or get it from the local stores.

Mobile Printing

A characteristic feature is the Direct Wi-Fi connection that enables mobile printing through apps such as HP ePrint, Apple AirPrint, and Mopria print. Whether the device works with an iOS or Android, or Blackberry, Windows 10, Windows RT, the mobile printing is compatible for printing through the Wi-Fi.

Paper Handling Specifications

The input capacity for the printer is up to 125 sheets in the main tray while the supplementary plate can take up to 15 sheets of plain paper. The output capacity of the device is up to 25 sheets. The several paper sizes supported include A4, A5, B5, B6, DL with a range of weight between 16 to 72 lbs. By US standard, the various types include US Letter, Legal, envelopes, etc.
