The operating systems that are compatible with the printer include Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10. With regards to Macintosh operating system users having MAC OS X versions 10.2.8 and higher till the MAC OS X 10.11 will be comfortable in running the printer on the system. Along with these two operating system versions this HP printer is also compatible with Linux and UNIX operating systems.
This duplexer printer has a large input and output tray capacity. The input sheet mechanism for the whole printer runs with the help of 5 trays. Out of these, the 1st tray holds multiple sheets, and the other trays can hold maximum 500 sheets. Similar is the capacity for the output tray, which can also hold 500 sheets but there is only one output tray.
Some additional features of the printer are that it has a sleep setting that saves energy by putting it on standby when not in use. Secondly, it also has one USB port that supports all kinds of flash drives.
The HP Color LaserJet CP6015dn has Image Resolution Enhancement technology that enhances the printing quality. The dot per inch resolution for mono sheets is 600×600, and for the colored sheets, it is 1200×600. Lastly, it can support various types of media like plain paper, envelopes, postcards, photo paper, legal size paper, and labels.
