The Epson ET-3710 printer model works by the drop-on-demand micro piezo inkjet technology for best document and photo printing. The maximum print resolution is also up to 4800 x 1200 optimized dots per inch (dpi). Also, Epson ET-3710 contains an internal driver that can produce duplex printing on the two sides of the paper. Printing at the ISO mode implies a print speed of 15 pages per minute for black pages. However, color printing with this device at the ISO runs at the rate of 8 ppm.

On the other hand, duplex printing at the ISO mode has a print rate of 4.0 ppm for color and 6.0 ppm for black documents. Its minimum ink droplet size is also about 3.3 picolitres for the three droplet sizes. Epson ET-3710 model is also compatible with EcoTank ink bottles, capable of printing black, magenta, yellow, and cyan documents. These four individual ink bottles are responsible for the best print performance of the machine.
Whereas the replacement ink options include the 502 black ink containing 127 mL. The other is the 502 cyan, magenta, and yellow ink with a volume of 70 mL.
