However, the appropriate media sizes of the Canon PIXMA MX338 include A4, letter, legal, A4, B5, Envelopes, and photo sizes. Scanning technology is compatible with the CIS flatbed scanner. Its optical resolution through the flatbed is about 1200 x 2400 dots per inch (dpi). But scanning through the ADF component is about 600 x 600 dpi.
Line scanning speed without data transfer time supports 1.6 ms/line and 4.8 ms/line for grayscale and color modes, respectively. Scanning is also compatible with the TWAIN/WIA components, especially for Windows XP and Windows Vista OS versions. It also supports the push scan feature that makes scanning much more convenient for user quality experience. The image quality works for three different modes, such as fast, standard, and high.
