Specifications

Other features of the printer include a print height of a maximum of 18.0 mm, especially when using a 24 mm tape. However, the character size may be smaller than the maximum print height. The cut options include a small margin, a large margin, chain cut, no cut or particular tape cut.

Considering power consumption, it has six inbuilt “AA” alkaline batteries (LR6) and six “AA” Ni-MH rechargeable batteries (HR6). The optional power sources include the Li-ion battery (BA-E001) and the AC adapter power source. The printer has an auto power-off option which depends on the present power source.

For instance, when running on the alkaline batteries, the printer will power off after 20 minutes of inactivity, but when running on the Li-ion batteries, the power off countdown is about 30 minutes of inactivity. When plugged into AC power source, the power of features of the printer triggered after 60 minutes of inactivity.

When the printer runs on an AC power adapter, it works at a maximum speed of 30 mm per second and runs on battery at the rate of 20 mm per second. However, the average overall print speed varies according to the complexity of the document and other printer conditions.

The physical measurements of the device involve an approximate width of 121.8 mm, a depth of about 245 mm and a height of 90.6 mm. The weight of the printer is approximately 830g, measured without the batteries and the tape cassette.
