Brother PT-1960 printer is another model of the P-touch printer series with the main switch and 51 other keys for the QWERTY outlay of the keyboard. There is a display component with a liquid crystal display (LCD) screen that supports up to 10 characters and two lines. There are also up to 20 indicator lights that include the Alt and Caps keys.

The printer has a print head that is capable of working at a resolution of 180 dots per inch (dpi) on the average and a color depth of 112 dots. The maximum character height is about 14.7 mm with further enhancement of a maximum of 5 lines buffer size.

The internal memory inside the printer can take up to 300 characters over ten areas while the housing design for the machine is in the shape of a small desktop.
