The weight of the printer is also moderate, at 18.7 lbs. The printer supports the automatic document feeder (ADF) that has an input width of 8.5 inches and a height of 11.7 inches through the scanner glass. The ADF can also hold a total of 10 pages of legal and plain sheets of paper. The primary input tray, however, can hold up to 100 pages of the plain sheet or other supported media types.
The output tray of the printer on the other hand only holds about 50 sheets of paper while the connection interface of the Brother MFC-660CN device includes the hi-speed USB port and the Ethernet network port. The internal memory of this printer is up to 32 MB of RAM with an External TAD interface. The operating temperature range of the invention is between 10 to 350C whereas the humidity range is between 20 to 80%.
This particular device is compatible with some media cards as an extra means of connection. Such cards include the Microdrive, compact flash 1.0 version, Memory Stick, xD picture card, MultiMedia Card, and Memory Stick Pro. The user can also scan to any of the cards while the printer supports JPEG, and PDF documents format too for images.
This printer also supports the PictBridge standard CIPA DC-001 that allows users to connect a camera to it for printing. As a result, users can connect directly through the PictBridge port for direct printing from the supporting device.
