The scanning method, on the other hand, is by the CIS scanning technology with an optical resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi. The interpolated resolution, on the other hand, works up to 1200 x 1200 dpi for all compatible operating system versions. The minimum ink droplet size is about four picolitres for black print and 1.5 picolitres for other colors including cyan, yellow and magenta. During the copy process, the resolution is 1200 x 1200 dpi for monochrome while it is 600 x 1200 dpi.
Copying can zoom between the minimum range of 25% to a maximum enlargement of 400% with a gradual increment of 1% at each step.
