The standard copy resolution is about 600 dots per inch (dpi) for color and monochrome alike. Also, the machine has a standard automatic duple copying and printing with a multi-processor controller. It is a color multifunction digital printer with a touchpanel that had 800 x 480 dots (W-VGA). The items of the copy system include dry electrostatic transfer, dual-component developer, magnetic brush development, and OPC drums. The Sharp MX-2615N also has belt type fusing, and a white LED exposure.
The speed of the copy process, if the document is in black and white, is 26 pages per minute (ppm). But if the material is in color, the rate is up to 31 ppm, while multiple copies can produce 999 copies. When platen glass is in use, the speed of copying is about 5.9 seconds for monochrome and 8.1 seconds for color. On the other hand, through the document feeder, the proportions are 9.1 and 11.6 seconds for monochrome and color, respectively.
In the standard tray, the input paper loading capacity is up to 500 sheets, while a bypass tray can hold 100 sheets. The compatible paper types are plain, pre-punched, pre-printed, recycled, letterhead, color, index, gloss paper, OHP film, and label paper. It also has a multi-processor controller with standard automatic duplex copying and printing.
