The copy speed is up to 21 pages per minute (ppm) while the color print speed is 19 ppm. It means the copy function can work on both black and color documents. The maximum capacity of all the copies is 50 sheets. The range of copy enlargement and reduction is between 25% to 400%.
The recommended operating temperature range is between 5 to 350C but when in storage, the field is -40 to 600C. When in operation likewise, the non-condensing relative humidity range is 20 to 80% but in storage, 10 to 90% relative humidity. This ability makes it possible to connect diverse mobile devices with various operating systems including Apple iOS, Windows 8, Windows RT, and Blackberry. The Apple AirPrint also supports OS X Lion, OS X Mountain Lion, iOS 4.2 and other later versions.
Paper sizes supported by this printer for optimum printing quality include A4, A5, B5, B6 and well as those of US standards such as US Letter, Legal and Envelopes the media weight should be between 16 to 72 lbs with an automatic duplex option for this printing. The standard input capacity for the main tray is up to 125 sheets while the secondary plate takes up to 15 sheets of plain paper. The output tray capacity is just 25 sheets of plain paper.
