When printing on a photo paper with 4 x 6 inches size, the print speed is as fast as 12 seconds at the draft mode. The ISO print speed has 12 pages per minute (ppm) for black documents and 11 ppm for color documents. On the other hand, duplex printing with this device has an ISO print rate of 5.2 ppm for black documents and 4.9 ISO ppm for color documents. Its ink droplet volume is also about 1.5 picoliters (pl), primarily through the five ink droplet sizes.
As a multifunctional device, the machine can copy at the rate of 11.0 ISO copies per minute (CPM) for black documents and 8.2 ISO CPM for color documents. The Epson XP-800 machine can produce color documents, black/white, text, text, image, and photo documents concerning the copy mode. It can also have an optimum level of copies reaching 99 with the PC-free way. The maximum compatible paper size is the standard legal size with an automatic document feeder (ADF).
