Epson WorkForce WF-7720 is a user-friendly device with a display component of up to 4.3 inches of color liquid crystal display (LCD) screen with gesture navigation. It also has automatic two-sided or duplex printing, which can save up to 50% on paper use with its automatic two-sided printing. It also has a versatile paper handling feature where each input tray can accommodate 250 plain paper sheets. The paper loading feature also has a rear feed for specialty paper that allows optimum printing or copying at full speed without interruption.

The Epson WorkForce WF-7720 machine can produce a maximum print resolution of up to 4800 x 2400 dots per inch (dpi). The black documents can run at 18 ISO pages per minute (ppm). On the other hand, color printing has a print rate of 10 ISO ppm. But these rates apply to simplex or single-sided printing. Simultaneously, duplex or double-sided printing has a print rate of 8.7 pages per minute (ppm). On the other hand, the color printing has a 6.0 ISO ppm print rate at the same duplex mode.
It also uses the DURABrite Ultra pigment ink, which is smudge, fade, and water-resistant, allowing the product to last longer. For instance, the four ink cartridges in the system consist of cyan, magenta, yellow and black.
