The Epson WorkForce AL-M8100DN machine has an output printing quality resolution of 1200 x 1200 dots per inch and an AcuBrite toner system. As an office workgroup printer, it can produce up to 220,000 pages in a single month. Also, it takes about 9 seconds for monochrome or black and white printing. However, standard printing has a rate of 40 pages per minute (ppm) for one-sided or simplex printing. But the duplex printing has a speed of 28 ppm for the same black documents.
The compatible print interface options include the USB 2.0 hi-speed type B port and a Gigabit Ethernet interface.
