Monochrome printing speed is about 8.0 images per minute (ipm) at the best possible print level. Conversely, the standard ink cartridges include PG-545 for black and CL-546 for color printing. On the flip side, other cartridges for black and color include PG-545 XL and CL-546 XL models. Color printing has a rate of 4.0 ipm while it doesn’t support borderless printing at all. But it allows manual operation for two-sided printing on both sides of the paper.
The cartridge yield when using plain papers includes 180 pages for each of the standard cartridges. On the other hand, black Xl cartridge can print 400 pages while the color XL cartridge can print 300 pages.
